Seasteading as Governance Innovation with Seavangelist Joe Quirk - Episode 03

February 20, 2018

In this special two hours and a half episode, Joe Quirk speaks of his experience as a seavangelist and how has it been to spread the message of seasteading to every corner of the world. Joe, co-founder and managing director of Blue Frontiers and president ot The Seasteading Institute, is the author of the book Seasteading: How Floating Nations will restore the Environment, Enrich the Poor, Cure the Sick and Liberate Humanity from Politicians. Here Joe also speaks of his two future books and why is it so important to incentivize innovation in the market of governance. He explains very carefully how the ocean already presents less centralized agreements than land-based systems and he´s very engaging when explaining his vision for a future where seasteads have become more ubiquitous. Joe also speaks of his participation on Ephemerisle and Burning Man and what fascinates him about the polycentric laws of the ocean no one speaks about. This episode is for anybody who wants a deeper understanding of seasteading, directly from the voice of the global advocator on ocean human living called seasteads.
